The changing economy and the social media scene have complicated things. If you're only utilizing the old techniques, chances are you will be left behind. Sue Danbom of Volt Worksource Solutions will discuss creating a new career strategy that will make you look good and appeal to employers whether you are entering the workforce for the first time or continuing to build your career.
Sue Danbom is the Director of Training of Professional Search for Volt Workforce Solutions. She trains executive recruiters (headhunters). Her career in talent acquistion spans 17 years and she has seen vast changes in ways that companies and employees find each other. sharing that information is a passion.
Sue writes and administers an internal website at Volt, she writes a blog for the Electronic Recruiting Exchange and will be speaking at the national convention of the Institute of Management Accountants this June.
Program qualifies for one non technical CPE credit.
* Please note that the Rainier Golf & Country Club has a “no jeans” rule. Parking is free. More information can be found by clicking here, including suggestions on traveling by bus.
Reservations, even if selecting the coffee only option, must be made by 5 pm the Thursday before the meeting in order to guarantee a meal. Standing reservations will apply. No-shows and late cancellations will be billed. Walk-ins are welcome, however there is no guarantee a meal will be available.
