An Update on the Accounting Profession for Accounting Professionals

Julie and Robbie will be giving us an update on the accounting profession, an update geared for those of us already in the profession.  The update will include:
    - how the CPA exam has changed and is currently conducted
    - how the 5-year education requirement has affected the CPA profession
    - how the profession is changing as a result of corporate scandals and resulting legislation in recent years
    - the unique program offered by DKB (DeVry – Keller – Becker) that allows students to obtain an accounting education that includes an MBA while preparing you to pass the CPA Exam
    - update on current Board of Accountancy requirements for becoming licensed
